Any Questions?

Blackbeard and Other Pirates of the Atlantic Coast:
This is a wonderful example of how much FUN historical text can be. The writing style is not overly dry, and the subject matter carefully explored. Over all this is terrific volume details the lives of several pirates in fine detail. Worth buying for the cover, worth keeping for the content. An absolute MUST HAVE for any serious Pirate Library!

Ballad of the Pirate Queens:
What a fantastic book. The interior art is so amazing that it is suitable for framing, and the tale it tells is most compelling and fairly accurate. Any women out there interested in pirates should definitely own this book.

Blackbeard the Pirate: A Reappraisal of His Life & Times:
While at times this book can get more than a little dry, as a serious text on the life of Blackbeard it has no equal. It delves behind the image created by the man, and takes a deep look at what he was REALLY like.

Pirates and Buccaneers-Coloring Book:
I should first state that I know not a single person who has ever actually colored this book. The drawings are intricate and detailed and I doubt a child could color them. However the art is wonderful and the information contained within is priceless.

Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition: English Sea Rovers in the Seventeenth-Century Caribbean:
Yes, most folks give a double take when they see the title to this volume. But really, it is quite informative about the life of a rover, and as the title suggests, it pulls no punches. A bit dry and wordy at times, but definitely worth a read.

Pirates Own Book: Authentic Narratives of the Most Celebrated Sea Robbers:
Not as authentic as it would claim, but still a classic in the genre, This classic volume is a must have for any collector of pirate literature. The tales within are more dastardly than dashing, a refreshing change from today's Pirate romances. Read about pirates as they truly were, vicious.

Pirates & Patriots of the Revolution:
While the book isn't very large and doesn't have too much in the way of new information, there are a few wonderful surprises. A recipe for Hardtack, images of an old Ship's Surgeon's tools and others are among some of the hidden delights in this gem.

Mallory & McCall's Irish Pub Songbook
A delightful collection of Irish pub songs, and a must for any collection. Old favorites and a few surprises can be found within the pages. What sort or surprise? Well, did we mention that we're listed on page 61?
