Ahoy to all!

It has been a while since we sent out our last newsletter, but we've been resting and relaxing and getting ready for our new season of performing. There's quite a bit to fill you all in on so I'll get going.

First, Marooned bids a fond farewell to Dani Aalbertsberg also known as Cooks'n Bronwyn O'Kelly. She is returning to Ohio to be with her family and she'll be missed. Still, you never know when we may see her again. Marooned wishes her all the best.

In other Marooned news, Bob Brinkman was cast for the upcoming movie "St. Eyria, City of Darkness" and will be traveling to Florida in the near future for filming. More info can be found on the web at www.mystiquest.com and exciting as that is, there is more.

After spending quite a bit of time in discussion with the staff of the Port Royal Restoration Project, Bob has been asked to put in a bid for training the cast. If accepted this won't take place until next year at the earliest, but as you can imagine, we're all pretty thrilled for him.

Speaking of people and projects, while the Marooned CD is sadly on hold, the person that was helping us with it is not. Billy Knight (Who recorded "Dead Men Tell No Tales" with Bob in May of 1999) is moving to Atlanta in pursuit of a recording career. We'll keep you posted on that as well. We certainly hope to hear him in the near future.

Of course, March is coming, and so too is St Patrick's day. This year will be the FIRST public St. Pat's performance by Marooned. We will be appearing at Borders in Green Valley from 8-10pm the evening of March 17th. As a bonus Borders will once more be selling copies of the Mallory and McCall Irish Pub Songbook. Remember, only two groups are mentioned by name in the book, the Clancy Brothers and Marooned. In addition, this book is a must if you plan on going out after the show to continue your St. Pat's celebration.

In April, Marooned will be returning to lovely Lake Casitas and to the Ojai Renaissance Faire. That'll be April 1st and Second. Other appearances are being finalized as this is written so there will be more to come. Planned appearances include the Santa Barbara Faire, the Second Ojai Faire and the Las Vegas Age of Chivalry Faire (Hopefully last year's error will be corrected).

As always, we'll keep you posted and our website, www.angelfire.com/nv/Mhoraigh will be updated soon to reflect all of the nifty new things going on.

See you soon!
