Ahoy there!

Welcome to the first Marooned-Mail. Granted it's running a bit late, but blame it on the Email server that ate our first attempt. Now then, on to business.

Clear your scheduals for this Friday night! Marooned will be appearing at Borders (1445 W. Sunset rd. Henderson NV (702)433-6222) to help kick of their Celtic celebration. Marooned kicks things off at 8pm and will probably wind down around 9:30 or so. We'll be performing traditional Irish as well as Shanteys and drinking songs, so it should be quite fun.

While on the subject of the Celtic Celebration we'd like to point out that local favorites Peregrine (And our favorites too!) will be performing Sat. from 8pm til 10pm. Come listen to the sounds of the Hammered Dulcimer and look out for the Orkney sheep! (Baaaaaa)

In other news, Marooned is pleased to welcome Melissa Richardson back to the fold. You may remember Melissa from her prior appearances with Marooned up until 1997. With the departure of Dani Aalbertsberg, Melissa has returned and rehearsals have shown that we haven't missed a step yet.

Information on our April appearances will follow shortly, so keep an eye on the horizon!
